A PC Corp Christmas
Our Merry Season At A Glance
We have been busy, busy for the holidays, packing in activities for the last of couple months the year – from community works to office celebrations, we MAKE I.T. EASY.
We started off the season with our 12 Can Challenge – A Food Collection for the Hungry, an initiative of our Community Projects Committee (CPC). 12 weeks before Christmas, in each the Calgary and Edmonton branches of PC Corp, we asked staff, friends and family, to help make an impactful change for the hungry in our community. The challenge was simple – every week as you buy groceries, purchase a single, extra can of food for the local food bank. Great end results for our community!
Next up, our Calgary branch volunteered with Operation Christmas Child – a Samaritan’s Purse initiative to collect shoe boxes of childrens’ articles and deliver them to less fortunate children in third world. Each of the boxes contain an happy assortment of items including: pencils, T-Shirts, candies, stuffed animals, scribblers, small toys and anything else you could imagine a child could use. We spent the evening helping to sort and pack these shoe boxes, making them ready for worldwide distribution to children in need.
Meanwhile the in Edmonton, the CPC organized a toy collection for Santas’ Anonymous – a charity formed to ensure that each child in Edmonton receives a new toy for Christmas. Imagine walking through the office doors and seeing a box overflowing with toys. Brings a smile to your face doesn’t it? Now put that smile on the face of a child on Christmas morning who otherwise would have had little to open – that’s holiday magic multiplied by 100!
And an office that plays together, stays together. From our Christmas gathering in Edmonton – WATCH IT HERE; to our party in Calgary – WATCH; and all of us squeezing in the last bit of fun together on our last days before we break for the holidays (… while wearing our ugly Christmas sweaters. Eeysh!) we know how to HAVE FUN DOING I.T.!
From the PC Corp Family to yours, we hope you had a great holiday season and wish you a Happy New Year.
We will be in full operation again on Monday, January 5th, ready and raring to go for 2015! We hope you will join us.
