This educational professional association in Alberta is responsible for promoting and advancing public education, safeguarding standards of professional practice and serves as the advocate for its members. In doing so, it is responsible for document creation for all aspects of their organization, including document creation for large scale meetings and mail outs to its 43,00+ members. As such, the demands on their printers and the cost of the consumables were significant. This professional association wanted to ensure that they were able to get the lowest cost per page without sacrificing the quality of the end print product.
The ATA worked closely with their reseller partner PC Corp, on a print solution to replace their current fleet of printers that would address their need for professional-quality output at a great value. The HP PageWide printers and Multifunction devices featuring Colour Flow Technology were selected to meet these needs.
Balancing speed, quality, and cost in printing applications once meant sacrificing one benefit for another. HP PageWide Technology overcomes these trade-offs with revolutionary and scalable designs that deliver quality and speed together and at a significant cost advantage.
The devices immediately showed savings from the consumables and maintenance kit standpoint. There were also efficiencies leveraging the Colour Flow Technology to integrate their SharePoint and other internal systems to create a better workflow for documents scanned into the systems as well and printing “on-demand” from any device from their document libraries/catalogues that could be accessed directly from the HP PageWide devices.
