The rainforests of the world are at risk. By 2030, it is projected that we may only have 10% of our world’s rainforests left. If we do not address the situation, at the rate we are going, the rainforests could completely disappear in 100 years.
Canada has almost 362 million hectares of forest covering 40% of our land base. It is one of our most precious natural resources being impacted by changes in climate, extreme weather events, and human encroachment.
